How can I check on the status of my current year federal income tax refund?
If you have internet access you can go onto www.irs.gov and select "Where's My Refund?" to receive information on the refund or you may call IRS directly at 1-800-829-1040. Otherwise, we will be happy to assist you once you sign a power of attorney form 2848 to represent you.

How long does a current year individual income tax refund take?
If you mail in the return it should take 6-8 weeks. If you have it electronically filed it takes 2-3 from the date the IRS accepts it.
